The carefully restored and refreshed spaces of Paasiravintola, originally designed in the 1920s, provide an elegant and atmospheric setting for your events and celebrations. Whether you’re hosting business meetings, corporate lunches, or high-class dinners, Paasiravintola’s grand hall is the perfect venue. It also easily transforms into a space for cocktail events or lively theme parties.
Paasiravintola can accommodate nearly 300 guests. A curtain divider between the pillars allows for more intimate gatherings when needed. Two private rooms, the Salikabinetti and Lasikabinetti, complete the offering.
Did you know? Paasiravintola and its cabinets underwent a stunning renovation in early 2020, blending traditional 1920s style with modern 2020s elegance. The renovation emphasized the versatility, comfort, and coziness of the spaces. Special attention was given to enhancing the restaurant’s adaptability and clarifying the service flow. Dietary-restriction-friendly offerings are conveniently presented together on one table. The well-thought-out logistics seamlessly integrate Paasitorn’s overall services, whether for daily business lunches or special celebrations.
The renovation also focused on lighting, modern technology, furniture, and surface materials. The light color scheme from the 1990s was retained throughout the space. The decor of the fixed furnishings drew inspiration from the blue-gray tones and golden details of the entrance’s decorative relief. The restaurant’s floor was restored to its original 1920s look.
The renovation of Paasiravintola, which was originally completed in 1925, is part of a larger service design project for Paasitorni, aimed at modernizing the iconic building’s lobby, meeting, and banquet spaces. The design studio KOKO3, responsible for the project, sought to soften the stately, heavy architecture designed by Karl Lindahl, blending it with the lighter, more playful and functional styles of today. The renovation celebrates the building’s historic architecture and timeless storytelling, creating inviting and dynamic spaces.
