While live music is a serious part of Juttutupa’s identity and important for our ambiance, our approach to music is relaxed – good music is good music no matter what the style. Rytmihäiriö

Since 1997, Club Rytmihäiriö has brought Helsinki’s best live jazz to the better side of the Pitkäsilta bridge. Live jazz can be heard on Wednesday nights from the beginning of September through to the end of May. During the summer Club Rytmihäiriö gives way to the light and relaxed KesäJazz – Summer Jazz. Finland’s finest musicians as well as upcoming young prodigies play jazz with passion and skill, often spicing things up with improvisation. Sometimes our evenings also feature international guests.

Live music

Juttutupa live music nights are a phenomenon. Our ghetto blues and ghetto billy nights present open-minded, unpretentious African-American roots music, usually on Saturday evenings. The music brings together the rhythm and swing of the big city, backwoods sounds and untamed watering hole blues or the lively joy of honkytonk. You can never be quite sure what to expect. Talented performers, from here and abroad, put on quite a show.
